Jinxed!

Featured Replies

After sailing through the MOT on Monday, recommending a Rapid to a friend last night, my Octavia let me down this morning!

Pulled out of my drive, into second gear, into third, then suddenly it started (what felt like) misfiring, i pulled over and tried the turn it off and on again (what working in IT does for you) it was just the same, a very lumpy idle with a reluctance to rev, i turned around and limped it home back onto the drive. It has now been deposited at a local garage for the verdict.

I'm thinking it could be the DMF - it does have 135K on it but other thoughts would be welcome!

thanks chaps

looks as though it is the injector wiring loom and possibly an injector that has gone (at least it is not the DMF!) just had a look at the cost of the injectors though! how much!!
