ECU update for better DPF operation PD engines ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THESE ?

Featured Replies

Hi all, I've recently read somewhere about a ecu update skoda came up with for better DPF operation on the PD engined vehicles, does anyone know about this update or what its technical name is ?? Please any help with this information would be gratefully received.

There might be a newer software for the ECU but there isn't normally a change log saying what's changed.

If you have a VCDS autoscan I can take a look at the flash files I have and see if there is anything obvious for your car.

Don't know if this is what you require, its an oldish scan, if its not what you require let me know how to scan the info you do want and I'll get it for you. Its an 1Z5 chassis despite saying 1U for some reason ?

Thanks in advance Andy

There are the files that are closest to that part number:

03G906021LD_9902.sgo
03G906021LE_9903.sgo
03G906021MC_9948.sgo

None of them match the exact part number and only the first looks remotely sensible in terms of SW version.

I don't think I'd want to risk an ECU over it...
