Fine Wire Wool on Windshield?

Featured Replies

No...the most abrasive thing I've used on a windscreen is toothpaste - did a good job, too.  The trouble with fine steel wool is...one person's "fine" may not be fine enough!

Steel wool...for when the ice scraper just isn't enough emoticon-0105-wink.gif

Is this the same guy who used blasting sand to clean his inlet manifold?

I've recently cleaned mine with autoglym glass polish, before fitting my new wiper blades.

Was happy enough.

Like the idea of tooth paste though.

I once had to use toothpaste to remove the scuff marks from a hire car that an Italian woman had decided to create earlier in the day - with an imminent flight helping to focus my attention!

She was quite indignant (at least I presumed she was as I don't understand Italian) because I had dared to 'have words' about her driving skills! :envy:
