Good morning everyone,

 

I've been lurking on here for a while now but I've now actually registered as I'm picking up my MK1 Octy VRS later tonight.

So I'm 36 and from sunny old stoke , I've been into VW for about 17 years ranging from mk1/mk2 Scorroccos, mk2 Gti, couple of MK3 VR6's and a brace of MK4 turbos in various guises but then family and other things changed so had to change to people carriers but now I'm back haha.

 

Never had a Skoda before but after research I think these Octavia's are a lot of car for the money, found a nice 2003 in my preferred black and good money so fingers crossed.

 

Anyway that's me, Hope to get some good advice / ideas from you knowledgeable lot

If you've had the MK4 Golf then the MK1 Octavia its the same old same old...........................just looonnger................

Yeah from I've read I came to that conclusion aswell.

 

The black one last night was a no go, so looking around still, hopefully going see one on Sunday.

Yeah I've had a couple haha.

Brisky is the place to get into the Skoda habit! Hope you find a good'un as they are as addictive as the VW way of life.

 

Funnily enough I'm looking to get back into the VW scene as the call for another Mk2 Golf beckons! (MK1 be nice but out of range).
