i went to go to my 2004 1.2 htp fabia after work and pressed the key fob. nothing. the little red light was flashing fast. unlocked ok by putting key in lock. would not lock using buttons so had to lock with key

upon opening the fob up the was a little piece of black metal which should have sat on 2 solders but was not.

how on earth do u get the battery out without breaking a contact lol?

 

have looked at other related topic but dont seem to give me the answer

its ok managed to fix it. the piece that came off we refixed and now working fine. phew!
