How does your engine sit?

Featured Replies

Does your car engine seem to slant or does it sit level?

I'll get a pic up 2mra to show you what I'm on about.

Mine looks like it's slanting a bit to the right.

Slanted, like it was when it left the factory.

So I can rule out paranoia then? Lol

I'd say so. Get a picture up anyway, yours might be slanting the wrong way :D

Maybe look on google or eBay for strut braces or something with engine bay shots and see if it's like yours.

Yeah they sit on the wonk. Nothing to worry about

Is it like this to reduce torque steering that might be caused due to asymmetrical driveshafts?  :dull:

Does look **** tbh!!! :D

Had a few people ask me if my eng mounts are ok.......

People only know that it looks **** if you leave your bonnet open or have a see through bonnet fitted,

otherwise they are none the wiser.

Thats exactly the reason why asked. A mechanic was looking at my car to give a hand with my oil cooler and said

" is it supposed 2 be like that.?"

Suggesting could be because of a worn engine mount.

I'll tek a pic soon as I finish work.
