Guys,

Downloaded this from the Skoda website last night.

Octavia vRS Game

This is only a demo but quite cool

Anyone else played it? what do you think?

I started playing it but the coil packs failed.

and they got pics of them all if you scroll down the thread :D

i cant get the game working at work gotta wait til i get home :(

bloody rubbishy graphics cards

Its not much cop to be honest. The game Im sure is from the same people who did the mercedes benz racing and that was awful. This is definitely an improvement over it but if the real octy vrs handles like this then I wont be buying one.

Handling is a bit iffy, but if you stick with it and get to the Octavia Racing version, it is MUCH faster, and very difficult to avoid hitting anything. It is quite a laugh to drive along with all of the paintwork scratched, the bumper hanging off, and the doors opening round every bend, not to mention the bonnet and boot flapping up and down over the jumps :)

I concur.

Its an arcade racer with pretty awful handling and physics modelling :thumbdwn:

They should do away with the godawful music as well

Overall 3/10

I agree, the music is terrible but I think the game is great fun, where else can you get an octi vrs and smash into cars/buses/bridges etc without hurting yourself, your pride or your wallet?

The handling may not be spot on but then it is only meant to be a bit of fun

It is good fun, I've even done a full flip. The damage though you can inflict is great. Though I wonder if they actually drove cars into walls etc to see how much damage would occur?

I played the game last night and thought it was really good

but i dont play many games like that so wouldn't no where to start to compare

I liked how I could barrel roll the car on some jumps and land cleanly or other jumps mess it right up head on into a wall

ooo ooo you also get to kill sheep and next lap you see the blood on the road hehehe

also i think the tarty skoda looks really good when its got no spoilers doors bonnet and a big dent in the front back and sides :rofl:
