Have Sony put a virus on your PC?

http://www.sysinternals.com has the original story :)

Yet another reason to rip discs and make a backup to actually play on my laptop instead... It's the same with those annoying 'force you to watch the adverts before you can watch the DVD' discs, I rip those and reburn them without that feature as it annoys the h&ll out of me.

Hmmm, that's not particularly nice of them

Sony is employing all those virus "developers" now. ;)

I'm not a virus developer :P

But I've heard off a news feed that Sony are stopping producing CDs with that form of protection on. Of course, doesn't help the millions of CDs already produced, i.e. those purchased and those already for sale in stores

And don't start me with DRM

Microsoft are updating their antispyware to find and remove this.

Nah...you just work for the "Special Services" group...nudge' date=' nudge, wink, wink. ;):D

And don't start me with DRM

Ah DRM......subject of the hour for me.

Boy am I glad I buy my music from Russia!

So am I, allofmp3.com all the way.

Sony seem to be dead set on pi55ing off as many people as they can at the moment. PSP release farce. Taking importers to court. Stopping the homebrew scene and mouthing off about the ps3. They certainly lost a customer here.
