You were right the first time. I think he's confused between roof rails (standard on the Q) and roof bars.

Ok, Roof Rails are std, also if you buy new the Cross Bars will be in the Boot of a new Q5 so all you need to buy is the Roofbox.

So they do, in a bag no less - apologies, its the first time I've seen that. Obviously wanted to stop selling them as a accessory. Unless its something to do with the change of centre of gravity device and that doesn't work with 3rd party bars.
