Estate boot hole ?

Featured Replies

I've noticed in the boot on drivers side when you open the side cover there is a hole cut out in the top rear corner does anyone know what this is for?

Is it for access to the tail lights to change bulbs? I'm not sure I've noticed it in my car though. There's a flap you can open, but I the only bulbs I've changed since I got the car were to upgrade the 'floodlights' in the boot lid to LEDs for decent illumination.

The bulbs are removed by first removing the entire rear cluster from the car so there is no access to the bulbs from inside the boot.

According to the manual the compartment on the right side of the boot in the estate is used to house three components...

1) CD Changer (where fitted)

2) TV Tuner (where fitted)

3) First Aid Kit (where fitted)

Im pretty sure thats where the warning triangle lives (well thats where I fitted it)

Yep - what Gizmo said...

Triangle fits in the strap but I'm now guessing if the TV tuner or cd changer are fitted in there it will be a cut out for wiring or plug
