Revo remap - hesitation/flat spot

Featured Replies

Hi All

Anyone had a hesitation issue with a revo stage 1 remap on a 170 CR?

The ECU was removed for a superchips map but it wouldn't take it.

A revo map was then done. Gives 195bhp but has a hesitation after a couple of seconds mid acceleration.

Any ideas?

Anyone??

Not very useful but... no. I've covered circa. 20k since having my 170CR Revo'd and it's smooth all the way round.

Some dyno diag' time would be a wise investment.

Thanks for the reply. It was on the dyno and had a wierd blip on the graph but it went away. They are going to take it back in and diagnose it. Hopefully they will sort it out. I wondered if some code was put in with the superchips attempt that conflicts with the revo map. Does the map overwrite everything or is it only certain memory areas?

Seemingly its a weak clutch that slips momentarily.

LUK for a clutch and DMF ??
