01317 control module in instrument cluster fualt?

hi guys scanned my car! and i got this code? also has brought on the steering light! any ideas?

My book for codes suggests that the probable causes are-

• trouble codes stored in other systems,
• wiring, or
• instrumentation control module

Check the fuses, battery condition and load wire from the alternator.

battery is good fuses are good load wire is fine dude is it the clocks them selfs? that need repiaring? ill check the wiring soon

got anything to do with heater controls? as some times when u switch to cold air it stills blows hot for  10 15 mins
