Yes PD170.

Who coded yours? And did you have to swap the fronts over?

Cool. Just checking as PD and CR aren't interchangeable I don't think.

 

Eddie-NL did it for me.

 

I swapped the front Perspex cover over as the one I got was broken. It just unscrews then unclips.

You can apparently use a CR cluster on a PD car no problem.

 

The facelift clusters can even be used in a pre-facelift car with a bit of fettling.

Mine sat for weeks before I managed to get Eddie to fit it... the suspense was unbearable seeing it sat there and not able to fit it! lol

hmm, if only i knew how much it would cost to fit I might place a cheeky bid. Does Eddie charge a set amount for fitting these please Phil?

My local VAG independent garage quoted £40 to swap and code a used cluster.

Don't quote me on this as I can't remember exactly and he may charge more/less (guess that's up to him).

 

He came to me (he was going somewhere in the North and detoured via York) and charged me £60 I think.

 

£40 is a good price. But knowing how many Eddie has done etc I would sooner pay the £60.

 

He is in Great Yarmouth.

He is a 4 hour drive from mine, not far from my uncle but I fear my wife may kill me. On top of that I keep looking at superbs although a cluster change would be cheaper 

Think Eddie said about £40.

He's about 6 hours away but I usually travel down to Kent reasonably regularly do would drop in on the way down. Just not had a chance yet.
