Hi guys

Just had a new key cut for my fabia, I put it in the ignition turnt the key and it hesitated to start and then fired up but I had a coil light come on then a car light with a flashing key symbol.

I took key out inserted the old one car started no problem and no warning lights.

Any ideas?

No I haven't I just took the internals from old key put them into new fob and got the key cut

Well if the old key still works you haven't swapped everything.

There is a small glass chip inside the key, if they breaks your knackered.
