Annoyingly the wipers change to intermittent the second the car stops in traffic or lights.  I have to put it to fast wipe to keep them going.

 

Can this be programmed out so that the normal wipe keeps going?

It's normal, once you move off they will return to the speed there set at, You'll need a VCDS boffin to answer your Question.

Apparently this is a "Simply Clever" feature. When you are driving with the wipers on constant, they will switch to intermittent when you stop. IMO I think it's good, but other won't.

 

Can it be changed? Probably with VCDS but someone who has it will have to advise.
