CAD/Office/Shop designing software

Featured Replies

I'm looking into renting a shop, I have all of the measurements doors/windows/window ledges/wall sockets etc and now looking for some free software to use that will allow me to draw up the room so I can work out where I can put my workshop/stock/bikes etc.. I like the idea of being able to see the plan from above but also be able to add stock and look into the shop at ground level

Any advise of software? I shall only use it once so don't want to spend alot of money on it.

I sometimes use visio, mainly if I'm doing something for formal presentation. to be fair though, a pad of squared paper can be as good.

Sorry if this comes across as me hawking for trade.

I do retail consultancy as part of my business. I don't charge for an hours chat, there's no pressure to take up my services after. If you want to talk things over, get in touch.

Cad wise try Draftsight.
