Hi, I just bought an 05 Skoda Fabia classic htp 1.2 on Sunday.

 

I had a problem yesterday where i was accllerating after coming of a roundabout and at about 40-50mph the engine light started flashing and the car spluttered before coming to a stop. I turned off the engine and put it back on and it started fine and drove away without any problems...Not had any problems since then, no lights etc.

 

Does anyone know what it could of been or if i should worry about it? it was just MOT'd last week and only got new brake pads and discs.

could be a number of things, best to get it scanned and see if its logged a fault code

+1 on getting the ecu scanned.
