HELP How do I remove my alpine headunit

Featured Replies

Managed to sort my power cable to the boot, now i cand seem to figure out how to get my headunit out of the dash in order to plug in the sub cable.

Can anyone help?

Its a removable faceplace, mp3 cd player. Cant remember number off top of my head.

Also, am i likely to have a stereo output for a subwoofer, or mono, and just dont use the other jack?

Thanks guys

I had aproper search when the frustration wore off.

You can get removal keys from most ICE suppliers or use a tiny bladed screwdriver. At the sides of the stereo you should be able to see a tiny bar which is seated into a " U " shaped cup, lift this bar (on either side) and pull the unit forwards.

Sorted.

Nailfile did it.

In the end I found removing both Din HU's gave me enough room to do everything i needed to.

Thanks for your help.
