hiya

 

ive started to get a lot of wind noise from my mk2 - its as if i have left the door slightly ajar - any idea what would cause this and costs to rectify?

 

Also, ever since ive had the car - the windows sqeal as they go up and down.  They move up and down fine - but dont know why they squeal - ive tried silicone spray everywhere and it doesnt help.

 

Any ideas?

Could be the seals that need replacing. Talcum or graphite powder works better than silicon spray in the seals. I assume you have already scraped clean the inside of seal to make sure there is no obstructions. 

Is the wind noise from one of the rear quarterlight windows by any chance?
