Hi all. Just joined so hopefully get an answer.. 2004 Fabia 1.9tdi,,Brake pedal slowly goes down along way..on the road it will brake an stop ok,, it feels like it is braking on front only?? with engine not running brake pedal is rock hard,, also pull hand brake on while moving and it doesn't do much...now is it rear calipers sized or out of adjustment,,,,rear pads 50% worn...need some advice before I spend any money, thanks..

It certainly sounds like a rear brake issue.

 

Have you checked all 4 pads or just the outers?

Will check all pads today, it's raining here so will wait till it stops..
