Silver MK2 Octavia PD140 Hatch - 55 Plate

Featured Replies

I've got a 2005/55 plate Skoda Octavia hatch which I'm about to part exchange.

Essentials are:

 - 145,000 miles (Give or take a bit)

 - 55 Plate

 - MOT until November 2015

 - Diamond Silver

 - 2.0 TDI PD140

 - Elegance

 - Audience head unit

 - Bilstein B12 suspension kit, including new top mounts.

 - Superpro bushes on the front wishbones.

 - Oil changes every approx 10,000 miles since I have owned it

 - Regular changes of oil filters, pollen filters, air filters

 - Fuel filter changed fairly recently.

 - 312mm front brake carriers

 - Projector headlights, front frog lights etc.

 - Parrot LS3200 bluetooth kit

 - All tyres are road legal with a good level of remaining tread.

 - Rear parking sensors.

The negatives that I'm aware of:

 - One front washer cap is missing (I have it, but it came off)

 - A small dent to the top of the boot lid, where it was caught in a multi story car park.

 - Alloy wheels have a few scratches and marks on them

 - A few little marks from other people not parking as carefully as I'd lilke.

 - Glow plugs probably need changing (but it starts first time every time, so I don't know)

The PX value I've been offered is £1200 and unless I get a better offer, then it'll be part exchanged this week.

If anyone is in the southwest and wants to have a look and make me a better offer then drop me a line.

It'd make an ideal workhorse car for somebody who just needs a car to commute etc.

Obvious please don't waste my time or yours comment, as I won't be going through any protracted negotiations on price.

It is what it is and it's sold as seen.

I could be interested, can you send over some pictures?

Regards, Roy.

I'll try and post some up today.

Hi

Also potentially interested. Whereabouts are you?

Near to Taunton/Bridgewater at the moment

Sorry I've not got any pictures, up. A house move got in the way.

What is the status of Time belt , miles last changed /year etc . Thanks

  • Author

The timing belt was done with the water pump and aux belt at about 80k miles, so it's not due yet, but not a million miles off either

The car's now up the main dealer as I part exchanged it, although if anyone is still interested, they tend to hold onto the cars in group for 48 hours before selling them on, so I'd be happy to share the deatils of the garage who have it.
