Hi I have a 2007 Octy (Elegance), no steering wheel controls. The steering wheel is a bald as a billiard ball. Any suggestions on a nice sporty wheel to replace..of course, I'll need to get an air bag for it if it's different to the current one. Any suggestions welcome. ta.

Just a suggestion but if you look on www.allegro.pl (or sometimes ebay including German ebay, ebay.de) you can often get the leather mfsw for the pre FL octavia without an airbag very cheaply. It looks much nicer, and uses the same airbag, although you will probably need a new steering controller and vcds coding if you opt for that. There are lots of posts on here telling you how to proceed too.

It won't work in full but most buttons can be made to work with the right controller. It's a bargain too, with the airbag.

We can re-trim your steering wheel with nice expencive leather for 100 pounds +postage!

SuperSkoda also have a selection of OEM wheels. Got a replacement from them earlier this year.
