Just to say "Hi"

Featured Replies

I'm the owner of a 2013 Octavia Greenline II (1.6 TDi).  I got a letter yesterday saying that my car was affected by the VW "diesel-gate" affair and would need to be modified as and when the fix was established.  Obviously I am concerned about what effect his will have on the performance of the car and its 2nd hand value.  I am particularly annoyed as I bought the Greenline as being the most environmentally-friendly in the range with the best mpg.

I have to say that I have been a very happy owner until this point as the car typically achieves 60 (winter) to 70 (summer) mpg on the Skoda on-board computer.  This translates to 57-66 mpg in real terms (calculated by mileage/fuel usage when I fill up) which is close to the 68.9 mpg claimed for the Combined cycle in the Skoda bumpf.

Clearly, I am pretty light on the accelerator pedal!

Hello Steve  :hi:

It's small consolation, but you're obviously far from alone in this debacle.  I'm sure it'll all come out in the wash.

Nice MPG figures btw
