As above, somehow managed to snap my bonnet release tongue earlier and can't seem to find one on eBay. Before contacting skoda, I don't suppose anybody has one for sale or knows where else I could pick one up, cheers in advance.

There are two different ones depending on year of the car (to cater for different grilles). They are part number 6Y0823463 or 6Y0823463A

I would drill a clearance hole through the bit you hold and run a long self-tapping screw into the main handle - you only ever pulll on it.
