Problem with my coolant light

Featured Replies

My coolant light came on I heck my coolant it was fine so I carried on driving thing it was a sensor or something then I noticed the temp dial was going above 90 of I checked the coolant again and there was none left. What is going on?

It's leaking somewhere or the head gasket has gone.

You should refill with coolant and then check for leaks. When was the last time you have checked you fluids levels?

Sounds familiar, I had similar, turned out to be perforated head gasket. So, check your oil level and inside oil filler cap for emulsion.

Check the heater hoses connections where they go through the bulkhead, coolant can drip down onto the exhaust and evaporate and thus not be detected.

Happened to me and it was the water pump that had failed.
