Hi. Can any one help with this puzzler?

My wife nearly had an accident this morning when she thought she was indicating right on a roundabout but it turns out the car was indicating left.

So right indicates left and left also indicates left.

Not sure if this is relevant but nearside dipped bulb has gone!
