Have you check the wiring under the seat for loose connection etc!

Is it under warranty?

They do take some time to warm up also - maybe you need to be more patient?

But my money is on a loose connection under the seat - possibly caused by a clumsy back seat passenger.

Driver's seat packed up on my Elegance 3 days before the warranty was up. They took the seat out and replaced the heating elements to fix it ... glad I wasn't paying for it  Skoda dealer said it was quite a common problem if they're used a lot, but I'm not sure if I believe that!

Chris

Using them should make sweet FA difference - on the other hand I can imagine kicking them from the back/underneath and/or pushing stuff into them from the top would :)

I know you got yours for free under warranty Chris, but out of interest, any idea on how much that (would have) cost (otherwise)?

I wouldn't have paid anything for the job the monkeys at the Skoda dealer did ... luckily sorted out by another dealer as part of the sale before I picked the car up so I have no idea on cost. I seem to remember reading that each half of the seat's heating element cost
