tinted rear windows

Featured Replies

Just got my yeti back after getting the rear windows tinted(b pillar back) looks much better and blends in with the black surrouds , just a bit darker than factory privacy glass , not bad for £140 all in

Is that tinting on top of the factory privacy glass, or instead of?

Also, pics...?!

Yeti s doesn, t come with privacy glass from b pillar back , I went for the dark smoke tint .

Whats it like seeing out at night?

I've had my last 2 cars done, rear vision is ok and also reduces glare and makes it difficult to see in and also looks better imo.

My CR-V has very heavily darkened windows in the rear of the vehicle, however, the rear 2 quarter light windows have a less darkened area in the centre of the windows which allows rear seat passengers to see out clearly. The rear window is also darkened but to about the same level as the viewing panels in the quarter light windows.

These differences are pretty much unnoticeable from outside the car and the view from the rear window from the driving seat are unaffected (this is also borne out by the rear dash cam, the pictures from which are no different to the front camera in terms of clarity).
