Hi guys I'm new here and this is my first post, not sure if this has been mentioned any where else but basically we have just come back from an hour run and when we got back the engine management light was on so I read the code with a fault code reader and it showed p0116 my temp gauge was at its low and was still getting warm air with the heaters on I also found that when turning the engine over it was struggling to turn over and when it did it was dropping below 10rpm like it almost wanted to die out again but managed to stay running hope somebody can help thanks

It's the G62 sensor, which is a pretty common fault. It isn't that expensive (IIRC, it's less than £20) and it's a 5 minute job to replace it.

IIRC, a repair kit will be at about the same price and it comes with the thermostat + body as well, along with the ECT sensor (06A919501A). Do it right from the first time if you have the possibility..
