Winter Steelies for a Octavia vRS

Featured Replies

Hi all,

At the thinking stage of getting some steels for my '10 plate vRS currently running on 18".

I know folk say that 16" steels should fit but is there a specific part number pcd etc I should be looking out for? What price should I be looking to pay for set of steels with or without tyres.

Sorry if this has been asked time and time again but from a search nothing is coming out clear cut.

Any advice etc for first year winter running for my Skoda and I would be appreciated.

 Cheers.

Buy steel 16" from Superb, they are wider and won't spoil the look of your VRS

Take the steel wheel out of the boot, all the specs you need will be stamped onto it.

The steel spare wheel on the vRS is the standard full size 16" spare wheel fitted to the lower spec Octavia's.

Here is my standard spare wheel on my vRS...

Personally I'd be hunting for a pair of second hand Skoda, Audi, SEAT or VW alloy wheels, better looking than steels and rust resistant.

I've found some alloys that are:

16X7J ET35

Would these fit on my mk2 Octavia vRS?

Cheers guys.

This is what I did today, fitted the Audi 16" alloys that I bought from someone on here back in the summer.

Really doesn't look that nice on them but a lot better than steelies :)
