Monster tuning remapping

Featured Replies

There's a local car specialist doing this monster remapping. Just wondered if anyone has had one done. I'm after it for my tdi octy mk2. Take bhp up to 200 and just over 300 ftlb torque

just get a Shark map. Job jobbed

Yeah but sharks double the price. What would shark do different for the money ?cheers olly

The answer to your question is no, I haven't had a monster remap BUT:

The map on your car from shark is £250 (providing it's a ppd170), from experience it's incredibly unlikely that a remap for £125 by some unheard of company will be superior to sharks work.

shark have a good, strong rep. I'd rather invest my money in a decent companies product.

No the map is £200 pound. I thought sharks were over £400. If sharks are £250 I may opt for that .cheers

Just checked and my cr170 would cost £499

The low price alone would put me off. You get what you pay for when it comes to remaps. I do however know that Revo's software for the cr170 is extremely good (some regard it as the best) and less than 499.

Cheers for that . There is a local place that do revo so will check it out

I only mention revo as I've driven a few cr170s with their software on both pre and post map and it's a really good bit of software. The price might be higher than some but you get a good, proven product and a 30 day money back guarantee.

There's a group buy offer in the sales section with 25% off Revo in Cambridgeshire, but it's this Saturday....

Savings should be £150 ish

Don't think thats too far from you is it?
