Blower stuck on feet

Featured Replies

Hi. On my third fabia vrs but never had this problem before. The blower is fine on speed 1-4 and temp works fine but for reason it's stuck on feet and won't change.

Anybody any idea what the problem could be? Any1 came across this problems

Thanks.

There's a rod connecting the twisty knob to the vent.  It's come out at one end. :)

It's like a flexi rod / spring setup with square fittings on each end that thread into the back of the controls and the system behind the dash.  It's about 20 to 25cm long.

Extremely awkward to put back the first time, but a two minute job when you know where :)

Right the first post is complete nonsense. Start again.

Blower speed 1-4 works fine but blows cold air into passenger side vent constantly but not drivers side feet. When I change it to "face" setting it blows hot air and still blows cold air to feet? It's a strange problem!

Think that's the best way to explain my issue.

You either have no pollen filter, or it's popped out or similar. Or the wrong one is fitted.

Think it's that simple? There is 1 there I've had it out n put it back in but solves nothing mate. Don't know if it's the wrong 1 though. Maybe replace it and see? Cheers

If not that then there's something blocking it, broken or assembled wrong. At least the air temp should be consistent. Misplaced pollen filter is the obvious answer but.....

Don't know. Try and solve the problem and update. Process of elimination needed
