Those without a LSD...

Featured Replies

I haven't got one fitted but i do have one sitting at home waiting for me. :)

It's already on the shopping list :)

I still remember nearly hitting the hedge on the right side of the opposite carriageway when I went for my first LSD overtake :D

I think now I couldn't think about going back.

I am just genuinely gobsmacked at the difference in the corners! I haven't tried it properly in the dry. It must be brutal :D

You get used to it.  Just need less steering input really. :)

It really is an amazing modification.

Expensive, but well worth it. Traction around and off round abouts is something else.

I love mine too. I've now got some decent tyres on the front but haven't really pushed it yet.

When I was running cheap chinese tyres it was the most fun/scary experience I've had in the wet lol

Mines on order and being fitted in a couple of weeks hopefully!

Just in time for the rainy season :P

Thanks Alex... not really helping me spend less money on mine now is it??

:notme:

They are good, a must on these when pushing past the 200bhp mark. The difference really is like chalk and cheese lol

I did always want one, I only paid £1000 for my vrs with a failed turbo, put my spare one on and that was it, stood me at £1000. I could never spend more than the car cost me on a small piece of metal... :(

You definitely need to get one Matt ;)  Seems a shame not too with those brakes on!

Other Matt... I'd go as far to say that it would make a huge difference on even a standard car. As I'm only at standard boost for now, and it goes around corners so much better :)

not sure if anyone off here bought the one of the car i broke up, but i can vouch that an LSD is the best mod u can do, just don't whatever you do fit cheap tyres

I concer with this statement

I know how good they are, just not sure I can justify it on the vRS, the whole reason I bought the car was to get away from petrol hot hatches and stop me spending a fortune on modifying cars lol.

I ran a Corsa VXR Nurburgring for about a year and that came with a factory fitted Drexler diff. Even though it was only ~200bhp it was fantastic on twisty b-roads.

I find cheap tyres and a diff are fun.. The diff makes up for the rubbish tyres [emoji23]
