replacing parking light bulbs. help needed

Featured Replies

Seems to be an absolute PITA.

Mk 2 2009 1,4 tdi greenline with projector headlights.

Options seems to be demounting the whole front and complete headlight package or the battery left side and some other gadget right side. Getting your fingers into that narrow tube in which youll find the bulbs just isnt a fair option.

A tip would be very appreciated. No light, MOT tomorrow morning....

Sorry, I'm not sue of the answer other than I've heard of it and seem to recall people moving things out of the way in the engine bay.

Some MOT testers will change the bulb for you if you ask them to, failing that there is a popular (not well liked) auto shop (halfords) who will change a bulb for £6.99 which may be an option in an emergency?

Thanks, but that doesnt work here.

I got a remark but doesnt have to show up again, "youll fix that" as the inspector said. Mostly we discussed our upcoming retirement as we both were born in April '51 and are planning to leave as per May 1st.... :)
