New owner VRS SE

Featured Replies

Hi, I've recently bought a VRS SE no. 923 and I'm very glad to say I'm loving it so far!

I own an Audi s3 8l and it does have a lot of similarities which I'm happy about. This is my first diesel and the engine noise is something to get used to however the engine pulls well with a lot of torque.

It is going to be my work horse so not too much modifying will take place pd160 intake ordered and a remap will be all I think probably from jabbasport as they're only round the corner.

Like to say thanks to the forum as I used it a lot in the decision making process and it's been very helpful so far.

Car has 52k on the clock, 1 owner, cam belt done and a very comprehensive history. Only issues so far is the parking sensors are a little intermittent which leads me to believe water ingress somewhere and the rear back box has gone through the first skin but not blowing.

The leather seats are good and the blue looks great!

Will be updating on here anything that goes on with her, but so far a very happy man.

Loved my Fabia vRS SE ,wish I had kept hold of it, as a long term 2nd fun car.

Enjoy yours and your successful low key upgrades.

Think I would have kept mine a standard.

Wouldn't bother with the PD160 intake, not really worth it on the standard turbo. Just go for the remap! - You won't be disappointed, they come alive with a remap. I'm still impressed with the pace mine has for what it.
