anyone else who has a dab head unit in their car suffered interference issues when you have installed a dash cam

Got terrible interference on FM with a dashcam. Had to send it back in the end.

 

A lot of the Chinese origin stuff has pretty poor / no EM shielding, they don't conform to the EU CE regs on it.

 

If you like the camera you could probably buy a better quality charging cable for it but if the flaw is in the camera it'll still be present.

 

I've not got another camera yet but I'm not going to get a cheap Chinese pattern camera again.

 

It was  shame because the actual camera worked pretty well.

No issue here with interference with the well regarded and reasonable Mobius dash cam and my Columbus DAB radio.
