Hi guys need abit of help, my fabs got the 6 cd changer under the passenger seat but it will not eject and it doesn't recognise there is a cartridge inserted. Does anyone have experience with similar? And what I should be looking for. Cheers

Reads like a blown fuse, disconnected wires or similar. Is it connected up to a standard "Symphony single CD" head unit?

Yeh that's the head unit its hooked up to I get a message on screen saying "no magazine" so I think it's picking up the cd changer but I'm terrible with things like this

Try pushing at the cartridge etc. see if it will recognise it. Other than that, the loom to it comes out of a rubber grommet/hose in the floor carpet under the passenger seat.

 

IMO if it proves too irritating, best option is to junk the lot and buy a £50-£100 modern h/u.
