anyone heard of this problem before?

All of a sudden feels like I've hit a brick wall. Engine cuts out and just leaves me with turbo spitting then will car will cut out all together I have scanned it and has come back with engine speed sensor 16706 P0322 and engine control module 01314 both intermittent faults. Any ideas?

Stupid as this may sound I have removed the stereo and it seems to have solved it. If anyone can shed any light on this issue it would be much appriciated would be nice to have music again

Aftermarket stereo? If so, get an adapter loom from Autoleads or similar and snip out all unwanted wires.

Yeah Sony xplod I've had it hard wired to the battery but no luck
