Tracing battery drainage II

Featured Replies

Simular problem as a neighbour post ;)

I have drainage  like this:

1 A when I connect amp meter and  after 2-5 sec it drops to 0.6 A

Still too much so I have to disconnect battery when leaving car over night   :(

This is with ignition key out

I found the 110 fuse on battery is routing the drainage

Ripped out all fuses  at side of driver seat -    still leaking

Disconnected alternator cables   -  still bad

Disconnected starter motor  -   still bad

What to look for that is not via any of the fuses ?

Where can i find  possible relays to check ?

I have Skoda Octavia Year 2000

Edit:   forgot about fault code ...    I had 029C = Vehicle voltage terminal 30

Hm, terminal 30 what/where is that ?

Have not checked yet if that code will reappear after clearing

Thanks

Resolved:

Turned out it was the boot light ...

Strange since this was the first thing I was checking

Anyway, checking again this was the problem

All good when I disconnected boot light    (Hope it still will be tomorrow morning ;)   )

Boot light should be controlled through the boot lock, do you have a dodgy earth to the lock?.
