This is to say a BIG THANKYOU to Wayne at Power Maxed for sorting out a problem I had after ordering online via Halfords.

 

Halfords managed to deliver a product that was not as advertised and despite contacting them (I may as well have talked to the cat!) they could not sort it out to any kind of satisfaction.

 

In desperation I contacted Power Maxed direct to just check what Halfords had sent was correct, but instead, Wayne sorted it for me right there and then even though it was not their transaction.

 

All I can say is I will be dealing direct in future, and Wayne, have a very good Christmas mate, thanks so much. Proper customer service.

Ive always had a great relationship with Power Maxed..

....In particular, Wayne, who set me up a Trade Account through my Detailing work

Their CS is second to none, so I'm not surprised that you have had such  a positive experience with them

And hopefully that's a win in business terms as well, as you're more likely to deal directly for the next purchase :thumbup:

Absolutely, been really disappointed with the service from Halfords over the past year. I wont be using them unless absolutely desperate now.

Join the club ;)

 

Don't get me wrong, they have their place and I do use them for essentials and tools - just not anything relating to car cleaning or detailing :)

Halfords are fine for the emergency tool or item.

They are good for 3 for 2 offers when I need some more Gold Class Shampoo

I would go along with both those replies, but with the caveat for my particular branch, that if you can see it in store then buy it, because if they have to order it in, then it will go horribly wrong.

 

I've ordered 5 different items from them this year, of which 2 the store let me order in store knowing the item could not be supplied later and a 3rd which arrived, then the branch proceeded to lose it - it has still not been found to date after 3 months.

 

As I said, I will use them if no other choice, but 5 is the magic change number for me.

Just to finally put this one to bed, the stuff arrived this morning, and if I was impressed with the admin service before of Power Maxed, then I was blown away when I opened the box. All the bits that were missing were there which was great, PLUS a duplicate of that part of my original order, so my son is getting an extra chrissy pressie.

 

All I can say is wow, not used to this kind of treatment and was really expecting a row when I opened the original box. Whilst this may have cost a few bob to send, you definitely have 2 new customers now (my son as well).

 

Going to stop now as sounding like a fanboy for Power Maxed, but I really am pleased with the outcome.
