I just had to test if a double set of CPL filters had any strange effect on a LCD screen - well, it does.

One fixed filter on my cellphone, and one that I move across the screen.

 

I do not understand why this happens, but watch the video, and analyze. Maybe someone here knows what's going on :-)

Yes. The liquid chrystals do polarize light on a LCD screen, but how do the hanhenld filter unpolarize the screen?

Strange thing. I have three filters. I will test more...
