Octavia new owner

Featured Replies

Hi, I've just recently bought a 2010 Octavia vrs tdi cr, I thought the car came with Bluetooth, but when you press the phone button all it does is mute the stereo. From what I've read I think it hasn't got Bluetooth. Is it easy enough to retro fit? And what parts do I need to do it? Thanks Gav

Have you paired it up? Otherwise it won't be connected to phone.

I can't get my phone to pair with it. It doesn't show phone in the settings

Welcome to Briskoda  B)

Bluetooth was a (rare) factory cost option on the vRS.

On cars without Bluetooth the 'telephone' button on the steering wheel simply mutes the head unit.

It is a relatively easy retrofit (you need someone close to you with VCDS for the coding), see here...

Is it easy enough to retro fit, or is coding required?

I edited my post at the same time as you posted  :D
