Water ingress and rear washer problems

Water ingress is a common problem in the Fabia and iirc, is due to the door seals not being sealed! Worth taking it back to your dealer to get this sorted and make sure they take out the carpets and dry them thoroughly too.

A couple of things to check for the rear washer are that the hose is correctly connected at each end (under the bonnet and into the washer nozzle) and that the nozzle isn't partially blocked. Failing that, mention it to your dealer when you get them to fix the door seals ;):D

I had a similar problem last week. There is a hose connection behind the passenger seat so it sound slike this has come apart.

Are you saying the two problems are related? Where exactly is this connection?

I watched from a distance. The mechanic tilted the passenger seat forward and removed the carpet trim over the wheel arch. Beyond that I'm not sure.
