Protection for Fabric sofa

Featured Replies

Hope it's OK to put this in here but figured it was the best place on the forum.

We're getting a new fabric sofa after Xmas and as we've got a young' un I'm looking for something to protect it from spilt drinks, chocolate etc.

Any recommendations for anything that's worked well on car seats? I was thinking about GTechniq I1 but thought I'd sound you all out first...

Thanks

Pretty sure you can buy scotchguard in Asda and Wilkos.

I'm personally going with  GTechniq I1 once I've washed the seat covers on my car interior. Not sure how any of them would fair on a sofa, depends on the fabric used I suppose.

but i might give it a try on ours, as i have two very messy children!

Agreed - just acquired some Gtechniq I1 and that would be my plan of attack.

The initial test on my suede-style trainers and hiking shoes went well!
