Hi all, carelessly I've scuffed one of the alloys on my Superb. Anyone know of a touch up colour to match?

What wheels do you have?

 

Some of the wheels fitted to the Superb have a polished / diamond cut finish (Thermisto, Sirius etc.).

 

If it is the standard silver then you need Audi L1H7.

 Superb (!).  But it was me.

 

My nearside front wheel courtesy of SWMBO, in the new year I am going to get all 4 wheels painted and refurbished and SWMBO will be getting told to keep away from the kerbs.

Ouch! They do look nice though.

 

Be sure to look after them, that polished finish doesn't last as long as it should.

Thanks, I will be looking after them, they will be getting cleaned with a ph neutral cleaner, then sealed.

I did 2 of my own wheels during the winter holidays. One was quite badly scuffed, so that one I repainted entirely. Here are some pics of before, during, and after. On the after-shot, one of the wheels is the one I fixed and the other is an original. I'm quite happy with the results, it didn't end up perfect but not bad for about 25£ spent! Will have to see how well the paint fares over time...

 

They look pretty good to me, certainly better than before the repair!
