HELP! Need help with a few exhaust questions 1.9 TDi PD100

Featured Replies

Hello Everyone :)

I'm wanting to put a straight through on my Fabia (I hear straight through TDi's all the time and I love it) but I'm completely unsure how to go about it so just a few questions if you don't mind

1. Can you buy any off the shelf pipe that replaces the cat, centre silencer and back box and doesn't require welding?

2. What size is the piping?

3. Or how much would it cost to get this done at a garage?

If all else fails a mate at the local Mercedes truck and van garage said someone was willing to do it for a sandwich as long as I took the exhaust off first.

There is no centre silencer on these. Only the cat and rear silencer. Easiest way would be to either buy a full exhaust system (same for the Vrs as it is for the pd100)

Or cut out the cat and the silencer and weld some pipe in where they used to be.

Could swear I saw a center one when I was under the car, I'll have another look later. But I think I'll just get that guy to weld for me, do you know the size?
