I should also have asked how quickly the new diesels warm up with their twin loop cooling system. I believe the petrols are very quick. Not just how the engine heats up, but how quick does the heater start pumping hot air into the cabin ?

Probably very slow as eletric heater (ptc) is standard for eastern europe diesel configs.

My 1,4petrol is not so fast to heatup without a webasto either, so I've left it to always on with cold engine.

Btw car cools off way faster than my 5er bmw did.
