Standard equipment

Featured Replies

Hi all. ...

Just pondering over a few things having put a deposit down on an 8 month old vRS diesel estate.

Are auto wipers and auto headlights standard?

Satnav - understand this is standard?

Thanks.... counting down to next week when I pick her up?!

Auto wipers / lights are standard as are bixenons.

Satnav - I believe it depends on the age. Admundsen sat nav may well be standard now, it certainly wasn't when I bought mine.

My vrs hatch is 6 months old and came with xenon lights, auto wipers and sat nav all as standard. However as above sat nav hasn't always been included, if yours is eight months old it will be borderline as to whether it was standard spec when built.

Thanks both. I should have said that I saw the satnav on the test drive so was wondering.... I didn't think asking what extras it had whilst haggling was a good idea! She's like the starship enterprise compared to the mk 2 fl that I drive! Nothing wrong with mk 2 fl BTW. .. just time moves on. ..

There was a stage they went through if including the Amunsden as standard. Not sure if that was to shift old stock?

Ask the dealer for the VIN so you can check the build

Sat-nav was a option on all MY 13/14 and early 15 vRS then they start fitting the MIB1 Amundsen as standard to finish old stock and stopped doing that and sat-nav when back to a option when they started to sale the vRS230 they up the spec on the standard vRS and sat-nav was standard fit but they up the pieces of the vRS too
