I was looking to upgrade my headlamp bulbs for Osram Nightbreakers. On Europarts both main and dipped bulbs are listed as H7s. I ordered some in their sale.

However I looked at the main beam bulb and on the connector it says H15!

Can someone advise me as to what bulbs I require.

Looking at my VW California it seems it has the same configuration!

Have a search in this forum, there are a couple of threads about bulbs.

Having just negotiated this maze.

 

Dipped Beam is H7

Main Beam / DRL's is a H15 (there isn't a huge range of choice in this area upgrade wise).

Fogs are H8

 

Powerbulbs appears to have it right.

I'm unsure why so many, and there are quite a few, have it wrong (other than information from a previous model, perhaps)?

 

It's not just the Octavia they get wrong either.
