Hi all I have s skoda Octavia Vrs 2010 , been to a couple of tow bar supplyers in South Wales and they said I cannot fit a tow bar to the car ? , yet I have seen loads with them ? What my best port of call ? Thoughts ? Thanks David

Hi, I have a Pre-Fl VRS Estate and I've got a westfalia detachable tow bar. I fitted it myself which is fairly easy to do with a little know-how.

No idea why they would try and tell you that you can't have one fitted.

I have Witter detachable on both my Octavia's and when removed the mounts are not visible from the rear.

What my best port of call ? Thoughts ?

 

Find another towbar fitter would be my advice, and be thankful your chosen one said what he did, I can't help thinking this guy is the last person I'd want fitting a tow bar to my car!
